What to Expect After your Appointment

Your new tattoo will go through several different stages while it is healing. Healing can take on average 7-14 days but will vary depending on each individual, some will heal quicker than others.

Do not be concerned and be patient as this is all part of the healing process.

Day 1

  • Brows will be vibrant, brighter and thicker. Some clients may experience redness and swelling around the treated area. This will typically subside after 1-2 hours however can last up to 2 days with sensitive skin.
  • Milder tenderness to the treated area.

Day 2 - Day 4

  • Your brows will appear even darker and thicker than on the first day, brows may even look slightly uneven, this is normal and all part of the healing process. Don't panic as this will not be the results of your new tattoo.
  • Milder tenderness to the treated area.
  • You may experience some itchiness, please don't scratch your brows as you may accidentally scratch the skin off.

Day 5 - Day 7

  • You may experience some flakiness, please leave them alone and let it naturally come off.
  • Brows may appear patchy and uneven
  • Once your skin has completely flaked, colour may appear greyish, this is due to skin still healing internally and colour hasn't resurfaced. Brow will appear a lot lighter than when first done. True colour can be seen after 3-4 weeks.
